Description

This Heritage Tweed dressing gown is hand-made in England using a dark, smoke grey herringbone tweed that has been specially tumbled for Budd to enhance softness and improve its overall feel. The fabric retains the structure and character of traditional tweed while offering a noticeably more comfortable, relaxed drape.

The gown is fully lined in smooth rich red silk, adding an extra layer of comfort and refinement. A claret red twill piping defines the collar, cuffs, pockets, and edges, giving the piece a clean and tailored finish.

Our Workshop

We make our bespoke and made to measure shirts at our workshop in Andover, under the guidance of Di Bainbridge and Gwenda Witts. They joined the company in 1969 and 1976 respectively and oversee the team as they produce our shirts, dress shirts and nightwear. Their approach is fastidious and reassuring, particularly when sat at our finishing boards where they inspect each shirt before it is pressed and packed up.
