Description

This linen shirt in navy is the luxury you would take if you were trapped on a desert island. Made from an exquisite linen sourced from our friend in Ireland, this 'Dunluce' quality combines a strong yarn count with a highly set construction. After dyeing and finishing, the Dunluce is then sanforised (also known as preshrunk to you and I) to give improved residual shrinkage control and also add a luxurious sheen to the fabric. Beautifully soft, this linen is fine and closely woven so that the shirt breathes well and feels great against the skin. It's the best cloth to wear if you want to keep cool in Hong Kong or Bangkok.

Our Workshop

We make our bespoke and made to measure shirts at our workshop in Andover, under the guidance of Di Bainbridge and Gwenda Witts. They joined the company in 1969 and 1976 respectively and oversee the team as they produce our shirts, dress shirts and nightwear. Their approach is fastidious and reassuring, particularly when sat at our finishing boards where they inspect each shirt before it is pressed and packed up.
