US Mailing List
To join our US mailing list please use the form below.
Alternatively, book an appointment.
If you would like to meet with our other members of The London Collective, please visit www.collective.london for more information.
If there are any specific patterns or requests you have in advance of our visit, please let us know.
During Your Appointment
During your appointment, you will be taken through shirting options (you won't be disappointed on the cloth front, carry cloths from mills such as Alumo and Thomas Mason) and styling options, including collar, cuff and fit. A full set of measureaments is taken before your pattern and shirt is made up in the UK.
In the case of custom made shirts, your shirts will be sent out to you within 3-5 weeks. Bespoke is a little different, due to the unique set of measurements that is taken. New customers will have a sample shirt made first. This will be sent out to you to try, wash and feedback on, and then reviewed with your cutter either at your next meeting, or subject to you being immediately satisfied, signed off and the remainder of your shirt order put into hand. For repeat customers, we will simply make up your order and send it out to you when ready. Come and see us!
Meet our Trunk Show Team
Darren Tiernan
Senior Cutter, Darren’s infectious baritone laugh and convivial manner echoes through our premises at regular intervals! 2017 sees him celebrate thirty years as a shirt cutter. Darren followed a traditional shirt making apprenticeship into the trade, starting out at Bowring & Arundel in Savile Row before progressing on to New & Lingwood, Dege & Skinner and briefly Davies & Sons He had long admired the work and authenticity of Budd’s work and didn’t hesitate for one second when asked to join the team seven years ago.
James Macauslan
James was employed by Budd as the company’s first apprentice in over twenty years after Mr Butcher spotted his potential during a stint of work experience in the cutting room. Under the guidance of both John and Darren, he thrived, to become an established shirt cutter in his own right, bringing a perfect balance of appreciation for the discipline and tradition of bespoke shirt cutting and a forward thinking approach that embraces his love for fashion and individual creativity. James closely follows and advises his customers shirting needs, but can often offer a twist or subtle note of difference, something often seen in his own sartorial turnout.
