These black faille silk braces are made for Budd in England by the oldest manufacturer of braces in the world, Albert Thurston. Faille silk, with its subtle rib effect is both elegant and sturdy. The braces have a traditional button fitting with leather ends. The length of each strap is altered by elegant, narrow adjusters. *Glove size is the measurement in inches of the circumference of the four fingers of your dominant hand.

To determine your glove size, run a soft measuring tape around the widest part of the palm on your dominant hand, excluding your thumb. The measurement in inches will be your glove size. 8" = size 8.

If you are in-between sizes, round up or down to whichever is closest. Gloves should feel a little snug as they will give.

Our Workshop

We make our bespoke and made to measure shirts at our workshop in Andover, under the guidance of Di Bainbridge and Gwenda Witts. They joined the company in 1969 and 1976 respectively and oversee the team as they produce our shirts, dress shirts and nightwear. Their approach is fastidious and reassuring, particularly when sat at our finishing boards where they inspect each shirt before it is pressed and packed up.
