Order Placement

We welcome all users to browse our site.  When you purchase from us, you will be given the opportunity to purchase as a guest or to register with the site.  Upon registering with the site, you will be asked to submit specific information including an email address and secure password.  We shall use your email address to create your username which will be the same.  Your username and password comply with our security and privacy policy.

An email address and secure postal address is required for the confirmation and secure shipment and processing of all orders.

It is important that you review your order carefully before placing it with us.  We shall seek to deliver the order to you exactly as it has been completed by you.  Whereupon you need to cancel an order or have mismanaged the quantity of goods, responsibility for shipment of

We seek to provide accurate and up to date information on our site, however, where a product is out of stock or has changed/differs in its specifications, we shall not be obliged to fulfil your order.

We reserve the right to change product offered for sale on our website at any time and without prior warning.

Budd reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.

Budd’s obligation to you is dependent upon the availability of goods.  The company will advise as promptly as possible whereupon goods are not available. 


In order to purchase goods or services from this website you must be over 18 years of age and have a valid debit or credit card. In placing an order you warrant that all details provided by you are true and accurate, that you are the authorised use of the credit or debit card used to place the order and that sufficient funds are available to complete the order.  Budd Shirtmakers reserve the right to refuse any order made by you.


By registering as a user of the Budd Shirtmakers website, you affirm that the personal information provided by you is accurate, true and current.  All orders are processed and confirmed subject to the following criteria:

  • Your personal data satisfies requirements
  • The product you have selected being available in stock and correctly represented
  • Any necessary credit checks/authorisations being carried out
  • Payment being proceed and confirmed

Upon using the website, you will be offered the opportunity to purchase from the site as a guest or alternatively to register. In either case the above criteria applies. 

Payment Methods

All payments for orders from Budd Shirtmakers are in £ sterling.

We accept payment by American Express, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa and Visa Debit. We are unable to accept Diners Club.  When ordering online you will be asked to submit your name, email address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and credit card/debit card details.

Please note that Budd Shirtmakers cannot accept payments in cash, cheques or gift vouchers for orders placed online.  Cash, cheques, gift vouchers and major credit cards are accepted at our shop at 3 Piccadilly Arcade, London SW1Y 6NH.

In order to process your order and ensure your privacy as securely as possible, Budd uses Sage Pay, a third party payment specialist. Sage are the largest independent payment processor in the UK and are compliant to the highest level in payment card industry security standards (PCI DSS), ensuring that all the information you enter is safe and secure.

We do not capture or store your card details and once you have entered your card number into the Sage Pay payment page, all sensitive data is encrypted and sent to the banks for processing.

Once your transaction has been submitted, you will be automatically redirected back to our site where you will receive a confirmation regarding your order. A further confirmation of your order will be sent via email.

Budd Shirtmakers is also pleased to offer Paypal as an alternative payment facility.

Telephone Sales

Many of the items on the Budd Shirtmakers website are specialised and are best ordered directly with the Budd Shop in Piccadilly itself.  Many non specialised items will be added to the website itself to purchase online in the future.  The shop is able to take orders over the phone from Monday – Friday 10am – 5pm.   If you provide us with an email address, we will follow the same procedures as for internet sales. In the absence of an adequate email address or in certain situations, your order will be process manually by staff in the shop.  In either case, an order is not considered as accepted until payment has been received and confirmed.

Delivery Parameters/Insurance Cover

Orders will be shipped to the delivery address submitted by you at the time of ordering.  Budd Shirtmakers is unable to accept any responsibility for incorrect addresses or postcodes.  We are unable to deliver to PO boxes.  Budd Shirtmakers insures each product during its transit to your delivery address, after which point liability for the product passes to you.  

Pricing Policy

All prices on the website are shown in pounds sterling (£). They include VAT.   Prices exclude delivery charges which are detailed separately.  Prices may change at our discretion without notice.  Whilst we strive to ensure that all of the prices displayed on our website are correct, from time to time errors may occur.  Should we discover an error in the price that we have quoted to you, we will notify you of this as promptly as possible, offering the option to reconfirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.  Where the correct price is lower than quoted on our site, we shall assume that you wish to proceed with the order and will process it and charge at the revised price. 

Overseas customers – please be aware that for those customers ordering from outside of the UK or EU zone, Budd accepts no liability for any subsequent import duties that may be imposed upon delivery. These costs should be absorbed by the customer.

We have made every effort to ensure that the description and colour of goods represented on our site is accurate.  However, computer monitor displays may vary and this may mean that there is a slight variation in the colour of the goods seen on the screen and as they appear in real life.  Any difference should be minimal however we cannot guarantee an exact match.

Any payment transactions will be encrypted. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. In addition, we train our staff about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your personal data.

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive data such as personal and credit card information. SSL encryption is designed to make the information unreadable by anyone but the intended audience. This security measure is working when you see a closed padlock icon in your browser window, usually in the URL address bar.

We will only ask for payment details when you place an order over the telephone, we will never ask you to confirm any account or credit card details by email or text message. If you receive such emails or messages do not respond and contact us immediately. Credit Card details are not stored beyond completion of your order. All payments online will be taken securely through payment portals Safecharge and Paypal, card details are not fully visible to our staff. Our handling of credit card details is certified compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

As you will be aware the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.
