Description

These black cape leather gloves have been fully lined in pure silk. Capeskin is from a breed of sheep, originally found around the cape area of South Africa. The skins are specially sourced and shipped to Dorset where they are turned into gloves by the last remaining original English glove maker. The skin is soft and has the look of the finest doe skin. They are the perfect day time glove.

Details & Care

If gloves get wet, allow to dry naturally.For light soiling, gently sponge the gloves with a warm solution of soap flakes.
Do not get too wet, remove any excess moisture with a dry cloth.
Reshape by putting onto hand several times during drying process.

To determine your glove size, run a soft measuring tape around the widest part of the palm on your dominant hand, excluding your thumb. The measurement in inches will be your glove size. 8" = size 8.

If you are in-between sizes, round up or down to whichever is closest. Gloves should feel a little snug as they will give.

Our Workshop

We make our bespoke and made to measure shirts at our workshop in Andover, under the guidance of Di Bainbridge and Gwenda Witts. They joined the company in 1969 and 1976 respectively and oversee the team as they produce our shirts, dress shirts and nightwear. Their approach is fastidious and reassuring, particularly when sat at our finishing boards where they inspect each shirt before it is pressed and packed up.
