Bailey X Budd’s Winter 21/22 drop revisits our bestselling favourites and heroes – Frank, George, Luxor and Stolen, and adds an update on the beloved Penny blouse.
Budd’s long-established ethical and sustainable working practises are key to Laura Bailey and Cathy Kasterine’s creative process and inspiration when designing their Bailey X Budd collections. Shirts are produced in England with minimum waste. They are designed and made to last a lifetime.
The distressed collar and pintuck details, cut in sky blue pinpoint cotton, reinstate the Frank shirt as a favourite for work and play.
We infuse new luxury into Luxor, taking it from summer to winter, cutting it in end-on-end cotton in a deep, indigo blue and pale silver-grey batiste.
Sporty socks and “borrowed from the boys’” boxers are conceived for days lounging at home. Comfortable and effortless.
The Penny returns in navy pencil stripe and white poplin.
George is reimagined in rich navy and scarlet silk, perfect for the return of party glamour when paired with chic tailoring.
We sleep in Budd as well, although our new navy Tommy pjs, with a smart red trim, work layered over a tee in the daytime too. Likewise, the Kitty nightshirt, now in a new bold stripe, works for beach and bed.
For their AW21 campaign shoot, Cathy and Laura chose to work with art and fashion photographer Daisy Walker, and filmmaker and journalist, Alexandra Genova. Both are known and respected for their environmental activism and champion Bailey X Budd via shared values and inspiring imagery.
